Day 11: Maps

Oh man have I been slacking. My life has been crazy, my computer has had trouble..but I'm getting back in the swing of things. I miss pictures too much! So here's my picture of a globe, which is a type of map (:

Turn to the one who holds you together

I was just looking through one of my notebooks and found my notes from when I spoke at youth group in June, and while everything else was outlined, this paragraph was fully written out, because God has spoken it to me, and it reminded me, even though I was the one who wrote it, of how true this is and how if we simply grasp the fact of this, your temporary problems can see so much smaller:

"I can't always give you the right answer or tell you why your parents got divorced, or why your boyfriend or girlfriend left you, or why your mom has cancer, or why your best friend passed away, or why you always feel alone. But whatever it is, God is there. God has a purpose. God doesn't do things just to make us sad or for no reason. But I PROMISE God does everything for the good. We may not see it today or tomorrow or next week or maybe not even next year. But when everything in your life is falling apart, turn to the one who holds you together."

Day 10: Beverage-Coffee

In case ya'll (yes, I just said ya'll) didn't know, it's NATIONAL COFFEE DAY!

I have recently discovered a love for coffee, so this day means more to me now than ever.

I know I got this from McDonalds...but it was still pretty delicious.

Day 5: Ring

The obvious choice for the ring to use is the only one I ever wear: my purity ring.

So I decided I wanted to talk about what it means to me for a quick second (:

One definition for purity is: Freedom from adulteration or contamination.

I wear this ring as a commitment and a reminder to myself to stay sexually pure for my husband. I know this ring looks cheap, it probably was, but it means so much to me.

I received this ring after completing a class at my church called "Friends Club". It was all about purity and becoming a woman of God. I had to take tests on Bible verses, read the whole Bible, and some other things. So to me, this ring is more than just a cheap piece of metal, everyday I look at it and I'm reminded of what I've learned, who I've become, and what I'm saving for my husband someday. ♥

Day 4: Leaf

So, it's the first day of fall so I this post is probably supposed to be some bright red or orange leaf, but...it had just rained and found these leaves and couldn't help it (:

1 year, a picture a day...

So, I don't take pictures everyday and that saddens me. If I had it my way, it's what I would do...all the time. But that's not how life is. So to better myself and my photography skills, I have decided to take on a challenge. I have a list of 365 different things/items and I will take a picture of one of the things on the list, everyday, for a year. It sounds easy now, but I'm sure after just a few days, it'll start to wear on me. Thus, why it's called a challenge. (:
